Last day of World Habitat Days 2025

You are warmly invited to join us on Friday, 10 October 2025, for the closing event of World Habitat Days 2025, taking place at the Faculty of Design, Dunajska cesta 129, Ljubljana, in the Lab for Creative Industries.

The final day will be dedicated to reflecting on the insights, creativity, and connections developed throughout the week, while also looking ahead to the future of design and sustainable development.

At 10:00, we will host the closing roundtable “Wood – Ancient and Yet Future,” featuring members of the Young Designers Society of Slovenia, the Student Council of the Faculty of Design, and international guests.
The event will be opened by Jan Krmelj, Vice Dean for International Affairs, and moderated by Asst. Prof. Arbresha Ibrahimi, PhD (International Balkan University – Skopje).
The discussion will include contributions from Prof. Dragan Ćalović, PhD, Brina A. Lukić, MA (Young Designers Society of Slovenia), PhD Candidate Jani Demšar, MA (Geodetic Institute of Slovenia), and Sr. Lect. Luka Mancini (Faculty of Design, Ljubljana).

After a short coffee break, at 11:30 we invite you to the lecture by PhD Candidate Lucija Erjavec Primožič (University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Architecture) titled “New European Bauhaus In-Between Spaces: Potential for the Unexpected or In-Between Spaces: Zones of Connection and Creation.”

The closing day will be an opportunity to connect, reflect, and draw inspiration — celebrating creativity, collaboration, and forward-looking ideas that have defined this year’s World Habitat Days.
