Between October 19 and 23, 2026, the International Office of the Faculty of Design attended the International Erasmus Staff Week 2026 in Spain. The event was organized and hosted by the renowned Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). As part of this mobility, we were also warmly welcomed at the EINA University Centre of Design and Art, an associated member of UAB, which represents an important connection point for our field of design.
The diverse and professionally oriented program at UAB was aimed at exchanging good practices and strengthening international partnerships. Throughout the week, we attended key meetings and workshops, which included:
-
Workshops on International Credit Mobility (KA171) and Staff Mobilities (KA131).
-
Discussions on Short Term Mobilities – Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) and Mobility IN and OUT.
-
Meetings regarding the digitalization of Erasmus+ processes and inter-institutional agreements (EWP/Agreements).
-
Presentations on international community engagement and the ECIU meeting.
In addition to the professional activities, the program also provided an opportunity to explore the local environment; among other things, we attended a guided campus tour, learned about Catalonia and its language, and visited landmarks such as the Hospital de Sant Pau.
Erasmus+ staff mobilities are of exceptional importance to the Faculty of Design. They enable direct contact with partner institutions, bring new knowledge to improve our services, and open fresh opportunities for international cooperation for both our students and staff.
