LJFW: Made, Awarded. And Celebrated Together.
After the applause on the runway, it was time to come together once again. On Thursday, 29 October 2026, we gathered at Canvas Concept Store for a Fashion Evening, where we presented awards to our students for the creations they showcased at this year’s LJFW.
In our invitation, we wrote about the ideas, sketches, experiments, adjustments and many hours of work behind every creation. This evening gave us a chance to pause, recognise that effort and celebrate our young designers’ achievements together. It was lovely to see you and share our pride in everything they have created!
The outstanding creations were selected at the fashion show by an expert jury comprising Tea Hegeduš, Editor-in-Chief of Gloss Magazine; Aleš Čakš, Editor-in-Chief of Goodlife Style; Nika Veger, fashion blogger and editor; Maja Nedič of Lisca; Evgenija Zafirovska; and Sanja Stojanovski of Canvas Concept Store.
The awards were presented to:
- The Lisca Award for a complete collection of clothing and accessories: Hana Krnc.
- The Goodlife Style Award for originality: Klara Gimpelj Domjanič.
- The Gloss Magazine Award for innovation: Patricia Zore, Teja Lampe, Klara Gimpelj Domjanič, Ela Pušnik, Špela Perc and Hana Krnc.
- The Sustainability Award, which includes a two-week window display at Canvas Concept Store, went to a group of first-year students: Lucija Katavič, Eva Dormiš, Tjaša Grandovec, Laila Mustafa, Neja Brodar, Maruša Kroflič, Núria Galarza Requena, Natalija Likar and Álvaro Hernando Castillo.
- The Lexus Award: Nina Justin.
- The Canvas Concept Store Award – an opportunity to sell their products: Hana Krnc, Patricia Zore, Lana Bedenik, Karolina Cecilija Krstaš, Klara Boban, Nina Justin, Una Loštrek, Neja Brodar, Lucija Katavič and Tjaša Grandovec.
Congratulations to all the award recipients! We are delighted to see your work gaining recognition and finding opportunities beyond the classroom – in a shop window, on retail shelves and in front of new audiences. These are valuable experiences and a welcome encouragement to keep creating.
Thank you to the expert jury for the time and attention devoted to our students’ work, to our partners for the awards, and to the Canvas Concept Store team for their hospitality. Our thanks also go to the mentors who support students from their first ideas to the moment their creations meet an audience.
To our students: we are proud of you, and we cannot wait to see what you create next! Congrats!
