Exhibition: Ljubljana Through the Eyes of Young Designers – A Tribute to the City, Creativity and Sustainable Vision

On Monday, 31 March 2025, at 6 PM, we kindly invite you to the opening of the exhibition Ljubljana Through the Eyes of Young Designers: Conceptual Solutions of Students of the Faculty of Design, taking place in the Historical Atrium of the Ljubljana Town Hall.

The exhibition was selected through a public call by the City of Ljubljana and represents a great honour for both our students and our institution.

More than an exhibition, this project is a creative dialogue between the young generation and the city that inspires them. It presents a conceptual bridge between academic thinking and urban life, between cultural memory and a contemporary vision, between space and atmosphere.

The exhibited works include students from different design disciplines: interior design, visual communications, fashion design and design management. Their concepts address sustainable renewal of urban spaces, Ljubljana’s visual identity, culture of living, and the aesthetic and social experience of the city.

The exhibition is part of the traditional GoinGreenGlobal Design Week, organised annually by the Faculty of Design. GGG focuses on sustainable design, circular solutions and social responsibility, bringing together academia, creative industries and environmentally conscious innovation.

We also invite you to the accompanying event – Design Talk, which will take place on Thursday, 3 April 2025, at 10 AM at the Town Hall. The roundtable discussion “Design Ethics and Social Responsibility”, moderated by Arbresha Ibrahim (IBU, North Macedonia) and Veronika Gruden Bole, MA, will feature young designers reflecting on the ethical role of design in today’s society.

The exhibition will be on view until 4 May 2025.
