Highlights of Day 6

Friday, 27 March, at the Faculty of Design, as part of GoinGreenGlobal 2026, unfolded in a relaxed yet content-rich atmosphere, nicely concluding an intensive and inspiring week.

The programme brought together lectures and discussions that offered students insight into different aspects of sustainability, technology, and spatial design.

The day began with a lecture by Ivana Biočina (Institute for Sustainable Fashion, Croatia), titled Creation and Work as Shaping the Idea of Sustainability, opening a reflection on the role of creation and work in shaping sustainable practices.

This was followed by a lecture by Jolien Damen (Thomas More University of Applied Sciences, Belgium), titled Democratising Urban Planning through Immersive Technologies, presenting the use of contemporary technologies in more inclusive urban planning.

The programme continued with a lecture by  Špela Leskovic and Aleš Košak (Slovenia), Sustainability in Hospitality, highlighting sustainable approaches within hospitality and tourism environments.

The day was marked by a friendly, relaxed and positive atmosphere. Despite being the final day, there was a strong sense of energy, curiosity and openness among students. The lectures encouraged discussion, exchange of perspectives and further connections among participants.

The final day thus offered a fitting conclusion to GoinGreenGlobal 2026, once again providing students with a valuable learning experience in an international and interdisciplinary environment.
