GoinGreenGlobal: Programme Preview – Thursday, 26 March
The fourth day of GoinGreenGlobal 2026 brings one of the most diverse and content-rich programmes of the week, combining lectures, workshops, and the central event – the Design Talk.
Morning Programme: Lectures and Workshops
The day will begin with a series of lectures exploring the relationship between nature, materials, and contemporary design:
- Prof. Dr. Djordje Stanojević (Faculty of Contemporary Arts, Serbia) – Biophilia: Nature, Process and Contemporary Art
- Sr. Lect. Luka Mancini (Faculty of Design) – Biomimicry
- Petra Marinko (Non Tox Uni Kum, Slovenia) – From Materials to Meaning – The Non-Tox Approach
At the same time, several workshops will take place:
- Bettina Wilk and Claudi Misteli (The Nature of Cities, Spain) – Storytelling as a Tool for More-Than-Human Cities
- Marie-Louise Rosholm (Studio MLR, Denmark) – Designing with Circular Principles vs Cradle to Cradle Principles
- Prof. Chiara Cibin and Prof. Cecilia Bione (Bologna Academy of Art, Italy) – Care Design
Afternoon Programme: Design Talk
The afternoon will be dedicated to the Introduction to Design Talk, led by
Assist. Prof. Dr. Petra Bole (Faculty of Design).
The introductory lectures will set the context for the main discussion.
This will be followed by the Design Talk: Holistic Experience of Urban and Interior Spaces, featuring:
- Prof. Dr. Djordje Stanojević
- Sr. Lect. Luka Mancini
- Petra Marinko
The discussion will address holistic approaches to space, user experience, and sustainable design practices.
Closing Programme
The day will conclude with project presentations and speeches as part of Urban Spaces for All, highlighting collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development in spatial design.
