Our students are heading to LJFW.
And they have something to show.

From the first sketch to the moment a creation steps onto the runway, there is a whole journey. Along the way come research, experiments with materials, cutting, sewing, changes of plan—and those moments when an idea finally takes shape. On Saturday, 10 October 2026, at 3:30 pm, our students’ fashion stories will come to life at Ljubljana Fashion Week.

At the Marble Hall of the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre, students from the Fashion and Textiles programme at the Faculty of Design will present creations that bring together their perspectives on the world, creative courage and individual design voices.

LJFW is one of the biggest moments of their student journey. It is an opportunity to share their work with a wider audience, experience the excitement of the runway and take their place on the Slovenian fashion scene. Behind every creation are hours of work, countless decisions and someone ready to show their idea to the world. That is what makes this show so special to us—and why we cannot wait for you to see it.

The featured work was created under the mentorship of Professor Matea Benedetti, Associate Professor Dr Tanja Devetak, Assistant Professor Almina Duraković Korošec, Senior Lecturer Dr Tea Hegeduš, Senior Lecturer Martina Šušteršič and Teaching Assistant Nika Ravnik, with expert support from Lidija Rotar. Together, they guided the students from their initial ideas to the finished creations.
