Creative Interweavings 25/26: It Was Lovely to See You!
On Tuesday, 20 October, we opened Creative Interweavings 2025/2026, our annual exhibition of selected student work, at the Ljubljana Fine Artists Society Gallery – DLUL. We caught up, chatted about your projects and had a lovely time together. Thank you to everyone who came along, brought someone with them and joined us in celebrating your creativity!
At the opening, Vice Dean for Artistic Activities, Assistant Professor Mojca Perše, welcomed you, and we presented certificates for participation in the KOCLes 5.0 projects. Congratulations to all recipients on your work, the experience you gained and the ideas you developed along the way.
We were also happy to have Nord with us, so we could treat you to a refreshing drink and keep the conversations going. 🙂
Your Work Deserves to Be Seen
The exhibition features selected student work from all our study pathways: spatial concepts, visual messages, textile forms and strategic responses. You can also take a closer look at several fashion creations presented at our student show at Ljubljana Fashion Week on 10 October.
Alongside your work, the exhibition credits the lecturers who mentored you as you explored, developed and tested your ideas. It also offers a glimpse into what grows out of working together, exchanging thoughts, encouraging one another and finding solutions.
We are proud of you and the work on display. And we hope you feel proud of yourselves, too. Take a moment in front of your project and give yourself credit for all the thinking, experimenting and persistence it took to bring it to life.
Every year, we at the Faculty of Design make an effort to share your creativity with people beyond the faculty. An exhibition in central Ljubljana gives gallery visitors, curious passers-by and people just discovering design a chance to encounter your work. And it gives you a chance to show them what studying design actually looks like.
Missed the Opening? There Is Still Time to Visit
We would love as many of you as possible to see the exhibition – and discover what your fellow students are creating across other study pathways, too. Bring your friends, family or classmates. Show them your project, tell them how it came about and take some time to explore the other work together.
The exhibition is open until 1 November 2026 at the DLUL Gallery, Breg 22, Ljubljana.
The visual identity for the promotional materials was designed by Nisja Vrčon, a Visual Communications student completing her studies, under the mentorship of Professor Martina Kač Nemanič, PhD.
Thank you for making Creative Interweavings what it is. Now bring someone along and show them around – you have plenty to be proud of!
