The Faculty of Design is presenting their work at the textile art biennial BIEN 2023, which takes place from May 31 to August 10, 2023 in Kranj, with accompanying exhibitions also in Škofja Loka, Jesenica and Nova Gorica. This year’s central theme of the biennial exhibition is the sun, which is interpreted in different ways in the textile and other works of the students of Fashion and Textiles, Interior Design, Visual Communications and Design Management, which were created under the mentorship of Assoc. Jane Mršnik, Assoc. prof. Tanje Devetak, Assoc. Tamare Hajdu, Assoc. Almine Duraković Korošec and senior lecturer Martina Šušteršič.
The program, exhibitions and other events of the biennale BIEN 2023, which is organized by the Layer house of the Zavod Carnica, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering of the University of Ljubljana and the Faculty of Design, an independent higher education institution and in the co-organization of other institutions and partners, are published on the website.
