On April 16, 2026, the Gallery of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts (FSU) in Belgrade hosted the opening of a remarkable exhibition by Assistant Professor Mojca Perše.
Part of the Multisensory Art platform, this project offers a unique opportunity to experience Ljubljana’s architecture through the medium of tactile mosaic and the artist’s contemporary, abstract interpretations.
Architectural Heritage at Your Fingertips
The artist has transformed the iconic ornaments of famed architects Fabiani, Vurnik, and Plečnik into relief compositions crafted from stone, ceramics, and glass.
-
Inclusivity by Design: These mosaics are specifically created to bridge the gap between architectural history and the senses.
-
A Multisensory Experience: The exhibition is designed for sighted, blind, and visually impaired visitors alike.
-
Tactile Rhythm: Instead of relying solely on sight, visitors are invited to feel the rhythm of historical facades with their fingertips.
This project redefines how we engage with urban history, making the rigid beauty of architecture something soft, reachable, and deeply personal.
