Highlights of Monday’s Events
The second day of GoinGreenGlobal 2026 at the Faculty of Design unfolded in a warm, creative and inspiring atmosphere.
Monday brought a diverse programme of workshops, offering students a valuable opportunity to engage directly with international experts and gain deeper insight into contemporary design practices.
The day began with the workshop Design Thinking for Design Doing, led by Lynne Elvins (Design Rally, UK). Through hands-on methods, students explored how to transform ideas into meaningful solutions, while connecting the design process with strategic thinking and collaboration. Lynne had also her workshop Implementing Design Management in the afternoon.
This was followed by a workshop led by Sr. Lect. Luka Mancini from the Faculty of Design, titled Patterns of Nature in Design: Form-giving Principles in the Universe and the Human Being. Participants explored the underlying principles of natural patterns and their role in design, opening a dialogue between nature, humans and space, and highlighting biomimetics as a source of inspiration.
The afternoon programme focused on photography. Marta Leticia Sanchez Cardete, PhD and Ana Mª Delgado Jarana from EASD Valencia (Spain) led the workshop Experimental and Sustainable Photography, where students were introduced to alternative photographic practices and sustainable approaches to visual creation. The workshop offered a fresh perspective on the medium, emphasising experimentation, materiality and responsible creative processes.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere remained relaxed yet highly engaged. Students actively participated, exchanged ideas and explored new approaches, creating a sense of curiosity, collaboration and creative energy.
Once again, GoinGreenGlobal proves to be a platform where knowledge, practice and new perspectives come together, offering students an important and enriching experience within an international design context.
